Description

Lindsey McCarthy with Robert Half offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Angola, NY. The selected candidate will be a crucial part of our client's team, responsible for key financial and accounting tasks. The role primarily involves account reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and data entry.

Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable – review invoices, match invoices to purchase orders, cutting checks

• Accounts Receivable – post payments, reviewing credit of customers – sending past due statements – light B2B collections

• Maintain Inventory sub-ledgers and assist in inventory valuation

• Bank Reconciliations, bank deposits, problem solving

• Assisting with month end and creating financial reports using Excel

• Other administrative duties – mail, filing, etc.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Requirements

• Proficiency in account reconciliation is needed

• Experience in handling accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) is required

• Familiarity with billing procedures is essential

• Capability to perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently is important

• Proficient in invoice processing

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is necessary

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work is required

• Excellent organization and multitasking skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Familiarity with accounting principles and regulations is necessary.
