Lockheed Martin Finance Management / Entry Level / Arlington, TX in Arlington, Texas

Description: Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is one of four Lockheed Martin business areas. MFC is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. MFC develops, manufactures and supports advanced combat, missile, rocket, manned and unmanned systems for military customers that include the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, NASA and dozens of foreign allies.

MFC is currently seeking a Financial Analyst for our Arlington, TX location.

Responsibilities include the following:

- Sets up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts that may require validated cost schedule control system.

- Performs analysis and prepares reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.

- Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analysis such as funding profiles, sales and profit outlook, and variance analysis.

- Provide financial status, guidance and assistance to Control Account Managers (CAMs) for responsible scope within various contracts.

- Prepares and presents financial status to lead

and/or management.

- Ensures Earned Value Management (EVM) and

financial information is correct and compliant to

Program Performance Management Process (PPMP) guidelines.

- Ensures Estimate at Complete (EAC) reflects latest scope of work.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree Business, Finance, or related discipline

- Microsoft office skills/experience, primarily focusing in Excel

- Good communication and presentation skills

Desired Skills:

Degree focus in finance, accounting, or business related field

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Must work well in team environments and comfortable working with team members in different geographic locations

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
