The AWS Americas Industry team is looking for an experienced Healthcare Providers Industry Leader to join our fast-paced team to work with our strategic partners to lead and execute AWS Healthcare Providers business with partners, and drive joint GTM strategy, and help Healthcare Providers customers solve their business problems. As the Head of Healthcare Providers for Americas, you will be owning & managing the Healthcare Providers Partner business for Americas HCLS segment. Additional responsibilities include Healthcare Providers Industry partner pipeline management, contributing to the Healthcare Provider partner ecosystem strategy, managing strategic relationships with influential Technology (ISV), Consulting (G/SI), and driving CXO-level relationships with Medical Devices customers, and partners.

You have been employed by a large, multi entity provider organization in a technology leadership role. You understand business problems faced by healthcare providers in the acute care, ambulatory, and post-acute care settings, and have detailed experience of the business outcomes healthcare providers need to drive. You are an expert about the data flows across the patient journey from registration, scheduling, coding/CDI, clinical care, and patient accounting.

You thrive in a cross-functional matrixed environment, working closely with some of the best and brightest in the world. You have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, in complex situations. You will be an expert in running a business, as well as technically savvy enough to drive innovation, ease in doing business, and top and bottom-line revenue growth.

6+ years industry work experience with a Healthcare Provider company is strongly preferred.

Additional experience consulting or business development specifically with Healthcare Providers companies is preferred

Key job responsibilities

Be part of the Americas Industry Team to drive the overall global AWS Healthcare Providers partner strategy to our internal and external stakeholders including the AWS sales teams, partner sales, as well as media coverage and industry events.

Executing the Global Healthcare Providers Partner strategic plan for the Americas which includes aligning with partner development managers and account managers who manage our top AWS technology and consulting companies.

Build C-level relationships with our top Healthcare Providers customers, and partners.

Execute go-to-market and routes-to-market plans that have clear and measurable ROI.

Represent the AWS Healthcare Providers partner strategy internally and externally including presenting at Executive Briefings and Conferences.

Prioritize AWS investment in partners who focus on Healthcare Providers, including leading startups, consulting companies, and established ISV/SaaS technology vendors.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience

  • 5+ years of professional or military experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
