The M365 Special Clouds Team is looking for a Product Manager who is obsessed with building a modern engineering system that focuses on industry leading practices and tools to provide autonomous and efficient internet-scale cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • This role will help in building solutions to monitor various service health indicators and provide insights to minimize incidents and help with early detection, mitigation and resolution.

  • Seize business opportunities and translate pain points into a roadmap of Product investments, breaking down ambiguous and complex problems into a manageable list of epics and features with clearly articulated specs.

  • Be curious, connect data, generate insights, and define experiments to validate or invalidate the hypotheses with results that ultimately lead to the right feature and investment decisions.

  • Closely partner with the Software Engineering, Operations and Data Science teams to land key product capabilities and business goals.

  • Identify critical data and telemetry required to optimize the product functionality, and work with engineering teams to grow the required data footprint.

  • Manage metrics, dashboards, and analytics that track the performance of the product capabilities against the goals and optimize the product functionality to drive the right performance.

  • Perform rich analysis and develop actionable insights using a variety of data sets.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelors’ degree BS in a technical discipline (CS, Computer Eng, Electrical Eng).

  • Experience in Product Management that is grounded with deep technical expertise.

  • Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets is preferred.

  • Track record of quickly ramping up on new technologies/tech skills and delivering SW products to external customers. Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and critically about product features, architectures, and capabilities coupled with excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Passion and proven record for execution with measurable results; focus on delivering impact.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to clearly articulate technical requirements as well as to contribute to complex design discussions.

  • Strong stakeholder management across orgs and geos/time zones, to drive results.
