WJZY-TV/FOX Charlotte is seeking a creative & motivated lifestyle producer to help launch an hourlong lifestyle show focused on everything that makes the Queen City the best place to call home.

• Responsibilities include:

• Serve as daily producer for a community-focused lifestyle show

• Book and schedule live and pre-taped in-studio interviews and on-location segments

• Write stories for entertainment and culture news stories for TV and website

• Work closely with the Executive Producer/Co-host to pitch content and segment ideas

• Work closely with sales & marketing to integrate & schedule sponsored client segments

• Actively participate in daily content meetings

• Booth an hourlong live show Monday – Friday.

• Build relationships with guest, clients, community members, celebrities, and show contributors.

• Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience

• Minimum 2 years’ experience producing a live lifestyle or variety show

• Must have strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task

• Ability to meet tight deadlines

• Experience with ENPS or iNews

• Social media fluency

• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud a big plus.
