Huntington National Bank Deposit Product Transformation Director in Cincinnati, Ohio

Description

Seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded Director of Product Transformation to lead the consumer and business bank through a period of innovation and growth. This role requires a leader who can drive significant changes in our product development processes, customer adoption, ongoing performance management, and organizational change to ensure we remain competitive and ahead of market trends.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Responsible for developing and executing a transformational product roadmap that is grounded in comprehensive customer research and identifies key user needs that are currently unmet in the industry. Roadmap includes customer research, business case development, IT development, and go to market planning and execution.

  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform product strategy and transformation.

  • Technology Adoption: Identify emerging technologies (& Fintech) and trends relevant to the customer use cases we are solving, determine whether its applicable to buy, build, or partner to determine most appropriate way to leverage emerging technologies.

  • Process Optimization: Partner where necessary to optimize the product development processes to enhance efficiency, speed to market, and product quality.

  • Change Management: Lead the go to market planning efforts for all new products that are taken to market.

  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, IT, Digital, Marketing, Branch, Sales, Legal, Risk, & Compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and support.

  • Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the success of each new product taken to market and provide regular updates to senior management.

  • Talent Development: Build and develop a high performing team capable of of driving product innovation and transformation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • Senior profile - Proven track record of leading successful product transformation initiatives in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

  • Strong understanding of product development methodologies, agile practices, and emerging technologies.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and initiatives.

  • Experience with change management and organizational transformation efforts.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Ability to adapt to a new environment and demands
