Microsoft Corporation Integration Technical Infrastructure Manager- EDGE and Gateway Projects in Dublin, Ireland

Overview:

The Integration and Technical Infrastructure Manager (ITIM) will be the Technical Program Manager responsible for preparation, execution, and handover of ITIM Scope on our Edge program sites across EMEA. He or She will be a leader in the adoption and delivery of Microsoft Health and Safety, Quality and Ethical standards in this region and collaborate with our Site Selection, Design, Security and Operations Teams to deliver safe, world class Data Centre builds. This is a remote role with regional responsibilities. Travel is required to our colocation sites across the wider EMEA region. Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

The key competencies and responsibilities of the ITIM include but are not limited to the following:

· The successful candidate will be a relentless advocate for managing a safe worksite, supporting the implementation of the Microsoft High Risk Activity (HRA) program, and work with our Lease Provider and Integrators to deliver trade collaboration methods to improve safe working and co-ordination on site.

· Identify and document Microsoft and vendor scope, requirements, and schedules with those of the Landlord or Contractor to identify the most appropriate scope demarcation and delivery model for EDGE projects.

· The role is responsible for coordinating Microsoft scope and schedules with those of Lessors, Installer Vendors and Suppliers. The role ensures smooth and timely handover of the Data Centre facility and capacity to the Microsoft Operations teams and Business Groups. · The position is responsible for producing and managing project plans and executing major milestones (Early Access, Ready for Network Install, Security Lockdown, Fit Out Complete, Colo Ready).

· Responsible for input to contracts, budget creation, cost reviews and approvals.

· The role will be responsible for safety, quality schedule and cost reporting.

· The ITIM will be responsible for attending and representing MSFT on site, in project specific meetings, and undertaking typical day to day project management tasks.

· Apply ‘growth-mindset’ philosophy to the day-to-day tasks and ensure that any deficiencies identified within the processes/framework are addressed and improvements are implemented.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates should have the following skills/experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, construction management or similar field experience.

· Extensive experience in IT infrastructure / Datacenter related project management.

· Self-starter with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.

· Excellent interpersonal awareness, project management, and communication skills

· Cross-group collaborator and influencer across teams and organisations with proven success in participating in cross-functional teams to deliver on key projects.

· Must be able to work within a dynamic team of full-time employees and consultants.

· RCDD or equivalent technical accreditation preferred.
