Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Description We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in the insurance industry to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This role will involve providing financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization. The Senior Financial Analyst will also be a crucial part of our financial performance, forecasting, and budgeting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support business initiatives and strategic decision-making.

• Develop and maintain complex financial models, including cash flow modeling, to forecast future financial performance.

• Prepare and present financial reports, including board decks, to senior management and key stakeholders.

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives.

• Analyze financial statements and key performance indicators to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis efforts.

• Provide recommendations for process improvements and efficiencies to enhance financial reporting and analysis.

• Maintain proficiency in financial systems and tools, with a strong preference for experience with Workday and Adaptive Planning.

• Utilize advanced Excel skills to streamline data analysis and reporting processes.

• Employ skills such as CapEx, CRM, Data Mining Techniques, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, About Time, Accounting Functions, Budget Processes, Expense Reporting, Finance, Annual Forecasts, Budgeting - Forecasting, Cash Flow Forecasts, Cash Forecasting, Financial Forecast, Forecast Activities, Forecasting, Forecasting & Modeling, Monthly Forecasts, Monthly Financial Reporting, Monthly Financial Statements, Monthly Financials, Presentation Boards, Adaptive Planning, Adaptive Insights, Workday ERP, Workday Financial Management in daily job functions. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in CapEx, CRM, Data Mining Techniques, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions

• Proven experience with the tool 'About Time' and handling Accounting Functions

• Proficiency in managing Budget Processes, Expense Reporting, and Finance

• Experience in drafting Annual Forecasts and adept at Budgeting - Forecasting

• Ability to carry out Cash Flow Forecasts, Cash Forecasting, and Financial Forecast

• Experience in Forecast Activities, Forecasting, and Forecasting & Modeling

• Ability to prepare Monthly Forecasts, Monthly Financial Reporting, and Monthly Financial Statements

• Familiarity with Presentation Boards, Adaptive Planning, Adaptive Insights

• Proficiency in Workday ERP, Workday Financial Management

• Adept at preparing Monthly Financials

• Extensive experience in the Insurance - Casualty industry

• Prior experience as a Sr. Financial Analyst or in a similar role

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Advanced knowledge of financial regulations and legislation

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field

• Relevant professional qualification, such as CFA/CPA, is a plus.
