YOUR ROLE

  • The Director of Medical Key Account Management is a sales leadership position that will manage a team of Key Account Managers, who are responsible for selling Henkel adhesives, sealants, and electronics materials to Medical Device OEM’s.

  • Support your Key Account team, as they work to strengthen relationships in their Key Accounts and win new business by working with engineers to incorporate Henkel products and solutions into new medical device designs.

  • Oversee the achievement of market segment strategy sales targets and ensure the local sales and technical solutions teams meet requirements of contract/offer of Key accounts.

  • Communication of strategic plans to Key Account Teams and oversee the implementation and execution of those plans.

  • Identify and resolve issues/problems encountered by our customers or by Henkel’s sales, marketing, manufacturing, or technical services teams.

  • Conducting regular Business Reviews to ensure our plan is aligned with customer business objectives and strategies.

  • Responsible for global revenue and profitability targets and customer satisfaction.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s is required. MBA is a plus, but not a requirement.

  • 8+ years of combined experience in Key Account Management and market strategy.

  • Strong account management skills (vision, strategic thinking, planning, communication, relationship building, negotiation, leadership, and execution).

  • Experience in winnings specifications selling technical and complex solutions to industrial OEM’s (medical, adhesives, electronics materials, or other industry) is required.

  • Experience managing sales teams that support large, complex, strategic accounts is preferred.

  • Ability to work with internal and external teams and manage complex projects across international cross functional teams.

  • This is a remote based position, with preference to the South, Mid-West and West regions.

  • Ability to travel an average of 35%.Most travel will be by air, thus beneficial to live close to a major airport.

The salary for this role is $140,000.00 - $239,700.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
