DESCRIPTION OF WORK The Department of Corrections, Director, Bureau of Operations position will provide general supervision and approval of all project designs, regardless of size, along with the ongoing review of the status of the construction and work in progress. The incumbent of this position will also be responsible for discussing broad policies and procedures of the Department and Bureau as well as providing day-to-day supervision of ongoing tasks and problems.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Six years of professional experience designing and reviewing facility, site, or building construction projects, or building electrical, mechanical, or utility systems, that includes four years in a supervisory capacity and a bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, construction science, or a closely related field; or An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes four years of professional supervisory experience in the field of construction management, architecture, or engineering. Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements: You must pass a background investigation.This position is notsubject to the promotion provisions of a collective bargaining agreement or memorandum of understanding.
