DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will be supervising and managing professional staff who perform employee relations duties for multiple agencies (DOC, Parole Board, PCCD, PSIT and Board of Pardons) within the Department of Corrections (DOC) HR Office. You will provide guidance and consultation and/or direct and guide staff in their research to provide guidance and consultation to all levels of management. Work includes supervision of staff in the implementation of the Accelerated and Standard Grievance Procedures, as well as logging, tracking, reviewing, investigating, analyzing, and responding to all assigned grievances at various steps. You will have the opportunity to coordinate with BII (Bureau of Investigation and Intelligence) and management on complaints received or issues referred for further investigation.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Human Resource Analyst 3 in the area of the parenthetical; or One year as Human Resource Director 1 or Field Human Resource Officer 2, and one year of professional experience in the area of the parenthetical; or One year of experience in the performance of professional supervisory or specialist developmental human resource work in the area of the parenthetical; and a bachelor's degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
