DESCRIPTION OF WORK As an Intelligence Analyst 1 for the Department of Corrections you will be responsible for reviewing, researching, and analyzing intelligence information for the department. You will be tasked with determining patterns and trends of criminal activity within our facilities and communities, then identifying potential threats to our daily operations. You will be collaborating with federal, state, and local agencies to coordinate intelligence which is extremely sensitive or classified.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment (37.5-hour work week) Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of paraprofessional research experience that includes gathering, analyzing, and organizing information, and a bachelor's degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes 60 college credits. Special Requirement: This position requires possession of a Top Secret Security Clearance issued by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) or attainment of this clearance during the probationary period, and continual maintenance of this clearance during employment in the position. Failure to obtain and maintain an FBI Top Secret Security Clearance will result in the employee's removal from the position. Removal may result in the termination of employment if other placement options are not available. Additional Requirement: You must be able to perform essential job functions.
