Univision Communications, Inc Multimedia Producer in Mexico City, Mexico

The ideal candidate is highly motivated, creative, and has experience as a Multimedia Novela Producer. You will have full ownership and overall responsibility for conceiving and delivering multi-platform promotional materials for Univision Network's scripted content. In addition to having an overall knowledge of, experience in, and passion for promoting Spanish-language novela, the individual must have a multi-platform novela mentality and skill set, as well as a competitive mindset, externally focused on the competition, always looking for new and innovative 360º strategies that thrive in today's market.

YOUR DAY-DAY:

  • Develop, create, write, and produce compelling and hard-selling concepts for scripted (novela) promotions and unique campaigns across all platforms, including linear TV, radio, digital, and OOH, that connect with our Hispanic audience and inspire them to watch, share, and talk about our network properties.

  • Lead, supervise, and design 360º creative strategies.

  • Write and produce weekly promos, trailers, and teasers.

  • Work closely with the Manager, VP, and other departments to create and execute strategies of multi-platform campaigns–ensuring optimal workflows and systems to handle linear assets as they scale up with new creative demands.

  • Work closely with editors, graphic designers/animators, and sound designers to ensure the final product is executed flawlessly.

  • Close collaboration with other novela producers on the team in creating and executing concepts.

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and easily adjust to last-minute programming changes.

  • Work closely with Research to analyze data, insights, and ratings to adjust creative based on shows' performance.

  • Work on creative concepts, taglines, and presentations for launch campaigns, including a 360º approach to selling the shows.

  • Ensure brand guidelines are upheld across all assets.

  • Keep track of assignments and accountability in project management tools like Hive.

YOU HAVE:

  • 4-year College degree a plus

  • Five (5) years minimum Network Multimedia Promotions with a proven track record of developing and producing/directing high-quality novela marketing content.

  • Strong Spanish-language copywriting skills

  • Knowledge of deck building for creative presentations

  • Superior knowledge of the industry and up-to-date with current trends and technologies

  • Experiential marketing experience is a plus.

  • Social Media content marketing experience a plus

  • Basic knowledge of Research

  • Knowledgeable with the scripted novela genre to develop the right concept for launch campaigns and post-premiere maintenance promos.

  • Strong communication, organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.

  • Knowledge and a solid understanding of the US Hispanic market are a plus.

  • Results-driven; detail-oriented. Look & feel & Brand Bible ambassador.

  • Knowledge of editing and montage

  • Ability to work overtime and on weekends with short notice, when needed.
