JOB SUMMARY

Are you a security champion, motivated by securing privileged accounts and data transmissions across diverse environments? Do you relish the challenge of evaluating credentials and access controls, leveraging tools like HashiCorp Vault to build robust defenses? If so, join our team as a Consulting Privileged Access Management Engineer! We seek a driven security professional to guide clients in securing their privileged accounts and data transfers. You'll be the go-to expert, delving deep into accounts used for data transmission (SFTP, service accounts, etc.). You’ll have a deep understanding of privileged identity management, privileged password management, credential vaulting, and privileged account certification. You will be instrumental to deliver:

• Secure storage, rotation, and usage of privileged accounts: Scrutinize how accounts are secured, stored, and rotated, recommending improvements and adhering to least privilege principles.

• HashiCorp Vault Solutions: Design and implement Vault solutions for securing credentials and access control, providing code examples and scripting assistance.

• Entra ID Permission expertise: Evaluate graph permissions requests, ensuring alignment with least privilege and best practices within Entra ID.

• Cloud-aware approach: Consider cloud-specific security concerns and integrate them into your recommendations, incorporating your knowledge of GCP Identity Platform and Entra ID when relevant

• Consult on broader PAM topics: Share your expertise on privileged access best practices, advising teams on effective strategies and solutions.

• Educate and empower: Develop training sessions on securing accounts, using Vault, and managing access effectively. - Stay ahead of the curve: Continuously update your knowledge of evolving threats and secure practices in the PAM and data transmission landscape.

This position will interact with multiple groups and individuals including; Security Architecture, Cloud Adoption and Operations, Enterprise Architecture, Development Architecture, Business Partners, Vendors and Leadership.

• Work with the team to design, implement and audit privileged access workflows and cloud permissions

• Create architectural and procedural documentation that outline the principle of least privilege as it pertains to HCA’s cloud environments.

• Work collaboratively with teams to implement secure credential storage using HashiCorp Vault.

• Strong understanding of best practices in the use of REST-based APIs.

• Experience with version control (Git), open source practices and CI/CD automation preferred

• Establishes and maintains solid business relationships.

• Practices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement.”

• Training and mentoring of peers and other staff • Performs other duties as assigned

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor's degree Information Systems Preferred

• 7+ years of experience in Identity & Access or System Engineering Required

• Experience in core IAM technologies (federation, directory services, MFA, etc.)Required

• Experience in Terraform, JSON and YML or other Infrastructure as Code. Preferred

• Strong Communication and Documentation abilities.Required

• Experience with Azure or Google cloud native architectures and Platform Services.Preferred

• Experience with Entra and Google Cloud Identity PlatformsPreferred

• Ability to adapt and embrace new ideas, technology and organizational changes.Required

• Ability to sit for long periods of time.Required
