[Overview and Summary: [The Director of Human Resources serves as the strategic leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resource management within the District. This role plays a critical function in attracting, developing, and retaining highly qualified personnel to support the educational mission and goals of the District while ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and District policies. *[Duties and Responsibilities:]{lang="EN"}]{lang="EN"}]{lang="EN"}*

[Strategic HR Leadership:]{lang="EN"}

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the District's vision, mission, and strategic objectives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to HR staff and District leadership on HR-related matters, including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance.

[Recruitment and Staffing:]{lang="EN"}

  • Oversee the recruitment, selection process and retention for all District positions, including teachers, administrators, support staff, and substitutes.
  • Develop recruitment strategies to attract diverse and highly qualified candidates, ensuring a talent pipeline that meets the needs of the District.

[Employee Relations and Compliance:]{lang="EN"}

  • Manage employee relations issues, including grievances, complaints, investigations and disciplinary actions, in compliance with District policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and District policies and regulations, including Title IX, ADA, FMLA and workers compensation.
  • Ensure staff engages in professional development for required District policies.
  • Stay current and communicate changes in legislation. Provide input into the development and changes to District policies.
  • Annually review school handbooks and Districts Code of Conduct in collaboration with building administration.
  • Coordinate responses for FOIA requests.

[Benefits Administration:]{lang="EN"}

  • Oversee administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, employee assistance programs and leave policies, in accordance with District policies and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding benefit options, enrollment eligibility requirements and preventative health and wellness programs.

[Oversee the administration of non-certified evaluation systems, including goal setting, performance evaluations, improvement plans and professional development planning.]{lang="EN"}
