Role Purpose: 

The Project Manager, SAP S4 will be part of the S/4 Program Team in the newly formed Finance Systems Transformation Office. This role will work with colleagues across the global Finance and Technology organizations, playing an active role in our finance digital transformation from design to deployment. NBCUniversal is embarking on a legacy ERP to SAP S/4 Hana transformation, and this role will be an important part of ensuring technical design, implementation and organizational change management are a success. The role will be responsible for coordinating/integrating work efforts across multiple finance organizational workstreams, Transformation Office Leadership, SAP, and System Integrators (SI) to assure quality and transparent project success.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Program Team (especially PMO), IT and SI to design overall transformation program, incl. detailed project planning, stakeholder alignment, and deliverables.

  • Manage and update project plan in support of the S/4 program.

  • Set up and coordinate workshops between S/4 program stakeholders, especially across all areas of NBCU Finance including Controllership, FP&A, and Business Unit Finance.  

  • Guide Team through appropriate Solution Design & Implementation stages incl. Global Template adoption.

  • Provide regular communications to the project team and provide documentation for Governance meetings. 

  • Assist as directed with managing status and executive reporting project scope, change order requirements, project milestone signoff documents, open item lists, risks and issues management, RAID logs and all other project governance artifacts/management dashboards.

  • Proficient user of O365, PowerPoint, SharePoint.

  • Escalate project concerns to Program Managers.

  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years relevant experience.

  • A minimum of four years of SAP Implementation Project Management experience within a Finance department, with functional knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA modules, project delivery, and PMO governance best practice.

  • Superb Project Management Methodology & Frameworks experience/certifications.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience with Project Management software such as JIRA a plus. 

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work in New York, NY.

  • This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $100,000 - $130,000 (bonus eligible).
