Job Summary

Title: Senior Financial AnalystReports To: Financial Planning & Analysis Director (FP&A)Status: Salary

Under the direction of the Financial Planning & Analysis Director, the Senior Financial Analyst will manage and drive improvement in financial reporting, planning and analysis.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares long-range plans, annual plans and quarterly forecasts

  • Prepares financial reports comparing actual results against budgets

  • Serves as the key analytical role supporting strategy and planning

  • Performs weekly cash flow analysis and forecasting

  • Prepares financial reports comparing actual results against budgets and prior year results

  • Serves as the key analytical role supporting strategy and planning

  • Develops KPI's and monitor progress against a reporting dashboard

  • Collaborates with Finance team on Ad Hoc projects involving company financial analysis and reporting

  • Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences

  • Other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

  • 5+ years of business experience with significant forecasting, planning and analysis experience

  • CPA or MBA preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to build relationships with other parts of the business

  • Strong business acumen and judgment

  • Ability to effectively simplify and communicate financial issues with associates and vendors outside of Finance

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products; expertise in MS Excel

  • Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Professional presence is required

  • Occasional travel may be required
