Marketing Coordinator Hanson Professional Services Inc. is seeking a candidate to fill a full-time Marketing Coordinator position. This is a remote position and open to working from any location within the continental United States. The ideal candidate is equal parts creative and organized and possesses project management, writing, and page layout skills. They are skilled in working with a team to formulate a pursuit's strategic messages. A successful Federal/Government Proposal Coordinator has leadership qualities and demonstrates a collaborative mindset, superior communication skills, problem solving ability, organizational skills, and transparency. They are also a strategic thinker who will push the status quo for continuous improvement. Position Profile This position requires management of the full project life cycle to meet client and Hanson's expectations regarding scope, budget/financial performance, schedule, quality, communications, risk management and health and safety of project staff. The successful candidate will work directly or indirectly with clients and senior project managers. They will coordinate with Practice Areas to staff each project and will subcontract as needed to fulfill project and client needs. We are looking for a creative and dedicated individual who will fit with our collaborative project-team culture. The job generally requires some overtime hours/outside of regular business hours especially around end-of-month accounting deadlines and when there are overlapping project schedules. Here's a snapshot of what you would do in this role: Collaborate with technical staff within the Practice Areas Interact with construction contractors, their staff, and subcontractors Guide and participate in assembling reports, plans, specifications, and other contract documents. Meet with clients to take detailed project scoping briefs and clarify the specific requirements of each project. Delegate project tasks based on staff members' individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels. Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals. Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis. Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members. Use and continually develop leadership skills. Plan and conduct project team. meetings, both internal and external. Other duties as assigned. We feel the following qualifications would set you up for success in this role: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, journalism, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 8+ years of experience in the planning, preparation, and development of proposals in the A/E/C industry and qualifications packages for government clients, and as needed for other markets. Experience in proposals with the Standard Form 330. Experience with Federal Markets, including, but not limited to, the Department of Defense including the National Guard Bureau, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, NAVFAC, and Air Force, as well as other non-DoD agencies for both vertical and horizontal pursuits and contract responses. Ability to understand and adhere to regional and local proposal submission requirements and deadlines. Experience with Adobe programs including InDesign and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Intermediate to expert skills in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with GovWin, ProjNet and other government portals. Familiarity with proposal database software. Aec360 is preferred but not required. Soft Skills: Excellent written and spoken communication skills to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
