Your role at Baxter This position is responsible for conducting microbiological and chemical testing in support of manufacturing, raw materials, environmental systems, validations, projects, and shelf life studies. Additional secondary functions include authoring procedural updates, performing trending, and assisting in special projects related to improving lab processes or maintaining regulatory compliancy. What you'll be doing Conduct microbiological and chemical testing (listed above) in support of manufacturing, raw materials, environmental systems, validations, projects, and shelf life studies. Work under minimum supervision. Use sophisticated laboratory instrumentation and computer systems to collect and record data. Perform assays requiring precise analytical skills and understanding of microbiology and chemistry principles. Complete all testing in a timely and appropriate manner. Serve as mentor to Quality Control Analyst I positions. Provide training and work direction for those positions as required. Author procedural updates, perform trending, and assist in special projects related to improving lab processes or maintaining regulatory compliancy. Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with company procedures and specifications, FDA, GLP, QSR and cGMP regulations. Participate in functions involving teams which impact production, increase efficiency What you'll bring BS in business/science or equivalent degree. 3-5 years experience in Quality with a medical device / Pharma company or other similarly regulated industry. Strong interpersonal skills and great attention to detail are necessary. Must be a strong team player with good problems solving, and good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to handle multiple projects concurrently, have computer experience and have knowledge of FDA Regulations, Application of Good Laboratory Practices, and Application of Good Manufacturing Practices. This job also involves hazardous materials and hazardous waste responsibilities which include understanding and complying with hazardous materials and hazardous waste regulations for job duties such as: proper handling, storage,and labeling requirements for hazardous materials and hazardous waste. We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career.At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices.To that end, this position has a salary range of $76,000-$104,500 and also includes an annual incentive bonus.
