AHBL Marketing Coordinator in Tacoma, Washington

AHBL is a multidisciplinary firm offering services in civil and structural engineering, planning, landscape architecture, and land surveying to public and private clients alike. We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator who is eager to contribute to a variety of exciting projects in our Tacoma office. WHAT YOU WILL DO In this role, you will maintain the marketing database, assist the team in responding to statement of qualifications (SOQs) and annual rosters, and provide support to the proposal manager and marketing team on proposals. This position provides high-level administrative support for all marketing initiatives, and you will work closely with the marketing team to create and implement new process documentation that allows the team to accomplish its goals efficiently. You will plan and manage the company's attendance at industry events and manage our annual content plan for content marketing initiatives throughout the year. You will provide support for various types of documents, including brochures, press releases, social media posts, and presentations. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree and 2 years' experience in a marketing and/or communication department, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. An associate degree and four years' experience in a marketing and/or communication department will be accepted Strong writing and editing skills Ability to translate technical writing into compelling marketing content Proficient in multitasking and balancing competing priorities. All work is completed in a deadline-driven environment Ability to work independently to accomplish tasks as assigned Strong communication within department and externally to teaming partners Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with Adobe Creative Suite Experience in the A/E/C industry COMPENSATION Actual pay will be based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Ranges are based on a 40-hour work week. $58,000 - $66,000 per year Annual discretionary performance-based bonus BENEFITS 100% paid employee medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, life insurance and long-term disability protection.
