System One is assisting a Tulsa client with a search for a Senior Accountant. They will work with others who excel in their areas of expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the month-end and year-end close process

• Prepare journal entries and ensure information is processed timely and accurately

• Prepare bank and balance sheet account reconciliations and make any required adjustments

• Review financial statements for significant variances and determine and communicate appropriate explanations

• Provide reporting as required by external auditors, banking institutions, or other agencies

• Assist various departments with special reports working with individuals across the organization

• Other duties as assigned

  Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required

• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls

• Advanced in Excel and experience with accounting systems

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills ensuring deadlines are met

• Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently with a high attention to detail

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Maintain a service attitude and professional demeanor at all times as an effective team player

  Salary: $70K - $100K
