This is a full-time hybrid position in Chicago (IL), Nashville (TN), Austin (TX), or Orlando (FL) with relocation options for out-of-state applicants.

Iron Galaxy is looking for a Lead Producer to drive our production pillars, to ensure we meet the standards of our projects, and to work with partners to deliver on expectations. This role is the focal point of various teams and a key representative that collaborates with our valuable partners. We need a new teammate who has proven time management processes and stellar communication skills. The ideal candidate inspires collaboration across all departments of game development. Our Lead Producers typically have 7 or more years of experience specifically within the games industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with leads and directors to create the project roadmap, milestone breakdown, and sprint practices

• Define, run, and improve processes to ensure project health

• Build and manage the relationship with the project partner

• Proactively identify and propose solutions for project risks

• Lead your production team with a high-level vision, low-level individual responsibility breakdowns, and regular 1-1 coaching

• Represent the project and be the bridge between the studio and development team

• Engage in knowledge sharing in the department, raising the bar for what great production means for the studio

• Model what excellence looks like and lead through influence while looking for positive solutions to all problems

DESIRED SKILLS

• 7+ years of production experience in a game development environment

• Expert knowledge of game industry-standard software tools, design documents, and production processes/best practices (budgets, game concept, and prototyping creation, project management, bug reports, and defect tracking)

• High-level time-management skills with the ability to focus on priorities, manage change, and deliver against agreed deadlines

• Be a thought partner with your team and foster a spirit of collaboration

• Experience working under rapid development cycles

• Proven mediation and problem-solving skills

• Sound decision-making capabilities with a demonstrable ability to think outside the box

• Meaningful communication skills that lead to proactive and effective solutions

• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence
