Technical Application Support Specialist

CAE Flight Services is hiring a talented Technical Application Support Specialist to join the Customer Success team in Vienna, Austria. Our highly qualified application specialists have in-depth knowledge of our flight products and are eager to assist our customers.

In this role you will support the product Flight Plan Manager which is used by customers around the globe. You will need your analysis, troubleshooting and diagnostics skills in our customer-centric, fast-paced environment to boost customer satisfaction.

The role we are offering you:

  • Support our Flight Plan Manager applications in monitoring, operations, maintenance, and deployments.

  • Ensure consistent customer communication through different channels, including customer-facing interactions during high-severity situations.

  • Resolve customer-reported concerns by diagnosing and resolving complex issues related to the Flight Plan Manager product and other flight-related applications.

  • Interact with and support other technical and sales teams to provide the best solution for our customers.

  • Work on shifts, including weekends.

    Our ideal candidate has:

  • Customer focus – customer satisfaction and a solution are always our focus.

  • Multiple years of work experience in a technical support, application engineering or DevOps role.

  • Be a great team player by training and coaching team members and supporting colleagues where needed.

  • Hands-on experience with MSSQL, Windows server/application environment.

  • Experience in a scripting language and/or writing SQL queries is a must.

  • Profound written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Experience in the airline industry or experience in a customer-facing role is a plus but not required.
