ABX Air, Inc. LGSTX SERVICES ACCOUNTING MANAGER in Wilmington, Ohio

DescriptionThe LGSTX Services Accounting Manager ensures that work is properly billed to customers, and that month-end and year-end General Ledger entries are correct and completed timely. Works with LGSTX management team and ATSG Accounting to collect and verify information and maintain accounting records. Prepare monthly financial and budget reports and investigate costs trends. Supervises 3 personnel. Performs other functions as needed. Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable: Creates Sales Orders. Answers questions, completes credit applications, and codes invoices. Posts Accounts Receivable invoices in SAP. Supervises the work of the Accounting Clerk in data entry to the SAP system. Reports: Revenue - Monthly, Quarterly, Annually Customers States Type (fuel, intercompany, 3rd party, contract, lease, etc). Work orders Jet A fuel LGSTX use of parts on work orders for sales tax purposes. Reconciliation Jet A fuel Auto/Diesel fuel Glycol WIP account Prepaid Jet A fuel Analysis and Explanations: Monthly, Quarterly, Annually Income statement variances Projects Month-End Journal Entries: Accruals Reclassifications Fuel Pricing and Costing: Jet A Auto Diesel Performs other routine and non-routine functions as required REQUIRED JOB SKILLS: Requires a BS in Accounting and at least two years of experience in an accounting department or similar environment. Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Oracle, and automated accounting software systems. Must be detail oriented, have good follow-up, and good written and verbal communication skills. PREFERRED JOB SKILLS: Previous experience with SAP accounting software is preferred.
